Text Box: THANK YOU TO all of the preschool children (and their families for bringing them) who sang at St. Peter’s worship service on 4/18. You all sounded really good!

PARENTS, PLEASE REMEMBER to continue to send jackets along with your child. Since we do go outside frequently many times the weather is not warm enough yet for “no jackets”.

PRESCHOOL FIELD TRIP FOR MAY. May 4th and May 5th preschool classes will visit the Bears Den during their regularly scheduled class time. Permission slips have gone home.

MAY PRESCHOOL FEES: With all the end of year excitement, please do not forget to pay your May preschool fee.

ST. PETER’S VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL will be held the week of June 21st. Information and a registration form is attached.

WE WANT TO THANK ALL OF our preschool families that helped in the classroom this year. It meant a lot to the teachers and especially to your child. SPECIAL THANKS TO Mrs. Richter, Mixed Age class student Ryan Diderrich’s mother, and Ms. Donna Schlesak, Tuesday-Thursday 4 year old class student Jacob Saller’s mother. These mom’s went above and beyond to help our preschool and teachers! Thank you to ALL of our volunteers for their extra help hands this year!
Text Box: 2004-2005 SCHOOL AND PRESCHOOL ENROLLMENT is still being accepted. There is still room in some preschool classes. St. Peter’s Lutheran School will be a K-6th grade school next fall. When choosing an elementary school for your child, prayerfully consider a Lutheran education and all the advantages that come with that decision. If you have any questions or need further information, please contact the school office at 534-6066.
Text Box: LAST DAY OF PRESCHOOL INFORMATION:

YOUR CHILD’S CLASS TRIP
&
GRADUATION CEREMONY

 will be on: __________________________________.
This year we will be going to the Betty Brinn Children’s Museum in Milwaukee. Your child will need to be at preschool between 8am-8:10am. The bus will leave by 8:30am. The cost of this trip will be $6 per person. The Preschool teachers will provide a snack and drink when the children are half way through their visit at Betty Brinn. We will return to preschool by approximately 12:00pm. Children will go with their teachers to prepare for the “End of the Year” ceremony. Parents may go directly into the church at this time, the ceremony will begin at approximately 12:10pm. The ceremony should end by 12:30pm and at that time students and families are invited to go into the Parish Hall/Big Gym for the pot luck lunch.

FAMILY POT LUCK LUNCH INFORMATION: Please sign up with your child’s teacher for a pot luck-finger food item to share. You may bring your food donation to the Parish Hall/Big Gym any time before your child’s class or program.

IMPORTANT NOTE TO PARENTS REGARDING OUR LAST DAY: We would like to ask all families that when we are in the Parish Hall/Big Gym to have your child finish their lunch before running off to play. It is also very important, for safety reasons, that you monitor your child’s activities in the Parish Hall. This traditionally has been a very special time for teachers as they say good bye to their students and they will not be able to supervise your children if they are playing on the equipment or in the Parish Hall.
Text Box: COUNCIL DECISIONS ON
ATTENDING
BOARD MEETINGS
The St. Peter’s Lutheran Church Council, the governing body of our congregation and school, meeting on 4/12/04, passed a resolution stating that individuals will no longer be permitted to address any church boards at their meetings or to attend said meetings. All questions or concerns from individuals who are not members of that specific board are to be put into writing, signed and submitted to the appropriate board chairman. Such written concerns will then be addressed by the board at its next scheduled meeting and conclusions, if any and as appropriate, will be reported back to the individual by the board chairman.
Text Box: ARE YOU DOING SPRING FLOWER OR VEGETABLE PLANT SHOPPING?
