1.  Why don't we allow any Christian who worships with us to attend the Lord's Supper?

(For an excellent article on this same topic by Pastor Harris from Trinity Lutheran Church in Austin Texas, click HERE.)

2.  Why don't we Lutherans seem as politcally involved as other denominations seem to be?

3.  Why do we bring people in and out of church membership the way that we do?

4.  Considering our strong pro-life stand, why don't we speak out against capital punishment?

5.  Why can't our members also join lodges like the Masons or the Elks?

6.  Why do we celebrate Easter on a different date every year?

7.  Why don't we encourage our people to watch and support television and radio evangelists?

8.  Why do we make such a big deal of going to church every week?

9.  If we're saved by faith in Jesus, and not by our own good works, then why do we still bother with the Ten Commandments?

10.  Many denominations have no qualms about having fellowship with other denominations.  Why don't we get involved in these fellowship opportunities?

11.  Why don't we ask people to "make a decision to allow Jesus in their hearts" as many other churches do?

12.  Why don't some Christian churches baptize infants, and why do we?

13.  Why can't women be pastors?

14.  Why do we worship on Sunday when the Sabbath is technically Saturday?

15.  Why do we call ourselves "Confessional" Lutherans?

16.  Considering that some scientific studies show that some people might be genetically predisposed to homosexuality, how can the church continue to condemn it?

17.  What does it mean that some Christians call themselves "fundamentalists"?  Are Lutherans fundamentalists?

18.  How do we view the practice of cremation?

19.  Why are there so many titles for clergymen (minister, pastor, father, etc.)?
