MRS. SANDY CZUTA  (Preschool Teacher)

      Mrs. Sandy Czuta has worked at Rainbow Preschool for about eight years. She thoroughly enjoys working with young children. She has also worked with Early Childhood children for almost eleven years for Racine County . She has taught Sunday School and has volunteered with Vacation Bible School for many years at St. Peters. She continues to take classes and additional courses, knowing how very important education is.  Mrs. Czuta is married and has 2 sons. She enjoys reading, going to movies, baking and watching American Idol.

MRS. CAROLYN FISH  (2nd & 3rd Grade Teacher)    

     Mrs. Fish, a synodically trained teacher, is currently St. Peter's Third and Fourth Grade teacher.  With experience teaching Kindergarten, First & Second Grade combination and Fifth-Seventh Grade combination classes  She has taught in large and small Lutheran schools settings in the Milwaukee, St. Louis, and Burlington/Waterford areas. She and her husband, Pastor Jack Fish of Hope Lutheran church in Twin Lakes, have a long history in Lutheran education.  Their personal years of education and their children's education in Lutheran schools, as well as their time spent as teachers in Lutheran schools shows the value and importance that they place on Christian education. 

     Mrs. Fish enjoys sports, her grandchildren, traveling and reading.  She spends her summers volunteering at various church related activities and agencies.  Mrs. Fish believes that God has called her to serve Him and His children through the teaching ministry.  Seeing children grow and learn academically, socially, and spiritually makes teaching an exciting and rewarding profession.  She appreciates the dedicated staff and parents at St. Peter's Lutheran Church and School.  The Christian atmosphere and love demonstrated between the school, families and community makes this a special place.

MRS. HILDA GROSS  (Spanish Teacher)

     My name is Hilda Gross. I am looking forward to my 4th year of teaching Spanish at St. Peter's, also this is my first year of teaching at St. Thomas Aquinas right here in Waterford. For me, my greatest satisfaction is seeing my students get exited about learning another language and culture. Also when they understand how important for their future Spanisn will be.
     I was born and educted in Colombia. I then moved to the U.S. when I married my husband who is originally from Franklin, WI. We have a son, and have been living in the area for the last 14 years. I love to read, travel, and spend time in my garden.

MRS. MONA JACOBS  (Preschool Teacher)

      Mrs. Jacobs is looking forward to her 5 th year of teaching at Rainbow Preschool. Attending a Lutheran grade school herself she values a Christian education and feels blessed that her two daughters are also receiving the same experience by attending St. Peters Lutheran School.

      Mrs. Joacobs and her husband Terry live in Waterford with their daughters Shelby and Emily. In her spare time Mona enjoys doing rubber stamping, card making and spending time with her family which also includes 2 dogs and 6 rabbits.

MRS KIM LEINWEBER  (Kindergarten Teacher)

     Mrs. Leinweber is beginning her 4 th year teaching Kindergarten here at St. Peter's. Kim's teaching philosophy is to lead by example and demonstrate to all students the importance of being a lifelong learner. She received her degrees from Alverno College in Milwaukee. Her first degree is in Business Management and Communications. She returned to college following a 10 year career in Marketing and Public Relations to pursue her second degree in Early and Middle Childhood Education.

     Mrs. Leinweber and her husband Nathan live on a farm in Union Grove with their daughter Mckinley and their Great Dane, Serra. Mrs. Leinweber enjoys cooking, beading, traveling, and spending time with her family.

MR. PETER LORENZ  (5th & 6th Grade Teacher)

      Mr. Lorenz is excited to begin his second year of teaching at St. Peter's Lutheran School. A recent graduate from Concordia University Wisconsin, he is currently teaching 5 th and 6 th grade and also enjoys coaching the Eagles' soccer and basketball teams. Growing up in a Lutheran school, Mr. Lorenz strongly believes in the value of a Christian education and feels blessed to be used by God in this field. In his free time, Mr. Lorenz spends as much time with his family as possible which includes his three nieces and one nephew. An avid fan of the Milwaukee Brewers, you can usually find him tuning in on the games every night in some way or another.

MRS. LINDA RAYESKE  (Preschool Teacher)

     Mrs. Rayeske graduated from Burlington High School is 1978 and went to Gateway Technical College and received an Associate Degree in Accounting. After school she worked in downtown Milwaukee for ten years in the mortgage banking business. She lived in the city of St. Francis most of this time. After she married Randy in 1992, they built their house on a lot that Randy had on the bay of the Fox River. She has 3 children: Benjamin who is 13, Nickolas who is 10 and Jennifer who is 9. They all go to St. Peters Lutheran School. In 2000 she became a single parent when Randy passed away from a heart attack.

      Once Jenny was in school all day, Linda decided to work part-time. She applied for a position at Rainbow Preschool and was hired as a co-teacher in 2003. She became a lead teacher in 2006 and she currently teaches the 3 year old Tuesday, Thursday class. It is an enjoyment for Linda teaching the little ones. The path the Lord has given to her is amazing. She never thought she would be a preschool teacher.

MRS. DEBBIE ROETHER  (Preschool Teacher)

      Mrs. Roether is beginning her 4th year at Rainbow Preschool. In addition she has 11 years experience teaching Montessori. She has always enjoyed teaching children and starting them on the path towards the excitement and love of learning. Mrs. Roether has 2 children, her daughter Kate has followed in her footsteps and is in her 1 st year teaching Montessori in Colorado. Her son is a junior at Boulder, Co., on his way to becoming an architect. In her spare time she likes spending time with her husband, quilting, shopping at the teacher store, and eating at Qdoba!!

MRS. SUZANNE SCHMIDT-ELLIOTT  (Preschool Teacher)

     Mrs. Schmidt Elliott is looking forward to her first year at Rainbow Preschool. Having watched her own children learn and grow in God's love in the school, she understands the importance of such a wonderful foundation for preschool-aged children. Mrs. Schmidt Elliott is no stranger to working with children having five of her own. She is very active in Girl Scouts and her children's school P.T.A. In her free time she enjoys reading, crafts and spending time with her family.

MRS. KRISTINE SHIPLEY (Preschool Teacher)

      Kristine Shipley is excited to begin teaching at Rainbow Preschool. Growing up in Madison and having attended a Christian grade school and high school herself, she values a Christian education.

      She graduated from the University of Wisconsin – LaCrosse with a degree in Psychology and has worked with preschool-aged children in various school and daycare environments in LaCrosse and Madison.

      In her free time, Mrs. Shipley and her husband and two children will usually be found in one of two places: Madison (visiting family or attending Badger football and hockey games) or relaxing up north in Minocqua.

MR. JAMES SCHULTZ  (Band)

     Mr. Schultz earned his Fine Arts degree from UW-M by teaching and performing music. He later began working with private school band programs. He recently has had the opportunity to use his theatre minor by working with the Racine Theatre Guild, and, Wisconsin Lutheran College, among others. Mr. Schultz lives in Wind Lake with his wife, Mary, two puppies, and has a grown daughter, Kris, who lives in Albuquerque. He enjoys sports, travel, and reading.


MRS. TIFFANY VAN SLIEDRECHT (1st & 2nd Grade Teacher)

     Mrs. van Sliedrecht has been at St. Peter's Lutheran School for six years, serving the Lord as the 1st and 2nd grade teacher. She is a synodically-trained teacher and is a 2001 graduate of Concordia University – River Forest. Mrs. van Sliedrecht lives with her husband and their new baby girl, Isabelle, in Racine. She enjoys water sports, listening to music, playing cards, and spending time with family and friends. Mrs. van Sliedrecht comes from a family of Lutheran teachers and her father is a pastor in Island Lake, Illinois. Mrs. van Sliedrecht loves working with children; she feels their simple “child like” faith each day renews her faith in Christ.

MRS. SARAH ZELLMER  (Preschool Director & Teacher)

     This is Mrs. Zellmer's second year at Rainbow Preschool. She is the director as well as teacher for the Monday, Wednesday, Friday 3 year old class. She is very excited about this new adventure. This is Mrs. Zellmer's third year as a teacher. She graduated from Concordia University in Mequon with a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education.

    Mrs. Zellmer enjoys reading, scrap-booking and spending time up north with her family. She also enjoys watching the Brewers and the Packers.
