Next Meeting: September!!!

Acornsacorn

acorn

The 2003-2004 school year was our second year of offering the Acorn program and we did a lot of exciting and fun things!!! We look forward to more things in the 2004-2005 school year.

The “Acorns” is a program developed for kindergarteners and first graders who wish to become official Rangerettes. The Acorns will experience a wide range of activities and crafts.

Rangerettes

Lutheran Rangerettes is a wholesome, scripture-based youth program. St. Peter's Lutheran Rangerettes is geared for girls in grades 2-6, but is compatible up to girls in the 8th grade. Girls build self-esteem, develop God-given talents, learn respect, make life-long memories and friends, and grow closer to their Savior through Christian activities and Badge earning.

Sewing, cooking, camping, pen pals, genealogy, citizenship, gardening, hiking, swimming, biking, etiquette, drama, safety, music, photography, and canoeing are just some of the activities the girls may experience.

Acorns and Rangerettes will meet on the third Wednesday of each month, September through May at St. Peter's. The yearly registration fee is $25.00 per child; this amount includes the National Council dues. Please contact the school office to register.

WANT TO JOIN IN ON THE FUN?

Acorns and Rangerettes are looking for more scout leaders for the fall. The program is open to girls in Kindergarten through 8th grade. If you would like to help out, please contact the school office at 534-6066.
